Verify a Request. Prevent Fraud.
Work permit fraud is common worldwide, and scammers sometimes misuse the names of legitimate companies. This page explains exactly how to confirm that a request, invoice or job offer referencing Permitra is genuine — and what to do if it is not.
<!-- price-integrity-notice -->The one rule that matters
Every genuine Permitra payment is an invoice inside app.permitra.io, tied to a numbered case, issued after you have e-signed a Master Services Agreement.
If any element is missing — no signed agreement, no case number, no invoice inside the platform — do not pay.
What Permitra never does
- We never ask for payment to a personal bank account or personal crypto wallet.
- We never request payment through WhatsApp, Telegram, or any messaging app. Messaging channels are for communication only; payment always happens inside the platform.
- We never sell or promise job offers. Permitra processes immigration paperwork for employment that already exists. Anyone charging you for a "guaranteed job + visa package" under our name is not us.
- We never guarantee visa or permit approval. Approval decisions are made solely by government authorities. Any guarantee of approval — from anyone — is a red flag by itself.
- We never ask you to keep a payment confidential or to hurry "before the offer expires."
Red flags in work permit offers (any provider, not just us)
- Upfront payment before any signed contract. Legitimate providers document the engagement first.
- Payment to an individual. Company services are paid to company accounts against invoices.
- Guaranteed approval or guaranteed jobs. No private company controls government decisions.
- Pressure and urgency. "Pay today or lose the slot" is a manipulation pattern, not a process.
- No verifiable legal entity. A real provider names its legal entity, registration number and jurisdiction, and those details check out in a public registry.
- Communication only through messaging apps. No platform, no portal, no audit trail.
How to check a request in three steps
- Check the entity. Our operator is Massive Dynamic Limited, Hong Kong Companies Registry no. 78076051. Verify at the Companies Registry Cyber Search Centre (icris.cr.gov.hk). Full details on the Trust Center.
- Check the platform. Log in at app.permitra.io. If the invoice or case is not visible in your account, it did not come from us.
- Check with us directly. Forward any suspicious request to hello@permitra.io. We confirm or deny authenticity, typically within one business day.
If you suspect fraud
- Do not pay, and stop sharing documents.
- Report the account or number to the platform where you were contacted.
- If money was already sent, contact your bank or payment provider immediately, then report to your local police or cybercrime unit.
- Tell us at hello@permitra.io — reports help us pursue impersonation and warn others.
Who pays whom, honestly
Two engagement models exist on Permitra, and they are contractually distinct:
- Business accounts: an employer or HR agency contracts with us and pays for permit coordination for its candidates. Candidates pay nothing.
- Individual accounts: a person moving abroad (with an existing employer sponsor or an eligible self-sponsored route) contracts with us directly and pays their own coordination fees under a signed Service Order with published milestones and a public Refund Policy.
What never happens: a candidate paying for a job offer, paying an unnamed intermediary, or paying outside the platform. If a "recruiter" tells you otherwise, the problem is the recruiter.
