Romania: Mandatory Bilingual Contracts (Order 655/2026)
The Romanian authorities don tighten the requirements for D/AS work visas. Under new regulations, any employment contract between a Romanian company and a non-EU citizen must be drafted in a bilingual format.
Requirements for 2026:
- Format: The contract must carry two columns: one in Romanian and one in the worker's native language (or English if dem gree on am).
