What this guide covers
Opening a Permitra account takes two short steps: create the account (one minute) and verify your identity (about five minutes). This guide walks both in the portal at app.permitra.io and says why each step is there. Placing and paying for an order is covered in a separate guide: How to Create an Order on Permitra.
Registration is free. Nothing is charged until you sign a Service Order and choose to pay the advance.
Before you start
Have these to hand and verification takes minutes:
- Your passport or national ID card and a phone with a camera — for the ID photo and a selfie.
- Your tax or personal ID number and your billing address.
- If you register a company or a sole proprietorship: the trading name, the legal name, the registration number, a billing e-mail, and the company licence or certificate of incorporation as a JPG, PNG or PDF (up to 10 MB).
Step 1 — Create your account
Go to app.permitra.io/signup and enter your first name, last name, e-mail address and a password of at least 8 characters. If a partner or freelancer referred you, their code goes in Referral code — an invite link fills it in for you. Accept the Terms of service and the Privacy policy and tap Create account.
You are signed in and taken to your dashboard straight away; a welcome e-mail follows. There is no separate confirmation link to wait for.
Why it matters: the e-mail you use here is where contracts, invoices and every status update are sent, so use an address the person who will sign actually reads.
Want to deliver services or sell with Permitra rather than order them? That is a separate door: apply to the partner program. Every application is reviewed, and accepted partners get a personal invite link.
Step 2 — Open Verification
You can look around, browse destinations and services, and prepare your first order right away. To sign a contract, pay or add candidates, the account has to be verified once. Home shows Verify your identity with a Verify button until you have done it; the order page asks for it at the moment you need it.
The verification screen lists three steps and how long each takes:
- Your details — your name, country and billing address · 1 min
- Photo of your ID and a selfie — done by Didit, our verification provider · 3 min
- Sign the service agreement — once, for all your orders · 2 min
Why it matters: anti-money-laundering rules require us to know who we work with before we accept payment. Doing it once at the start means you never stop halfway through an order to prove who you are.
Step 3 — Enter your details
Tap Enter your details and choose the account type:
- Individual — you act in your own name.
- Legal entity — a company. Add the trading name, legal name, registration number, billing e-mail and upload the company licence or certificate of incorporation.
- Sole proprietor — the same company details as a legal entity.
Then enter your name exactly as it appears on your passport, your country of residence, your tax or personal ID number and your billing address, and tap Submit for verification.
Why it matters: these details pre-fill every contract, agreement and Service Order you sign later, so signing takes seconds. The name is checked against your document in the next step — a different spelling here is the most common reason a check needs a second look.
Step 4 — Photo of your ID and a selfie
Tap Start ID check. The check is run by Didit: you photograph your passport or ID card and take a selfie, and you are brought back to Permitra when it is done. On a computer you can scan a QR code and continue on your phone — a phone camera usually gives a sharper photo.
When Didit approves the check, your account is verified automatically — no waiting for a person. If you finished on another device, tap I've completed it — check status.
If the check is declined, the screen says so and you can try again. It is usually a photo problem: glare, a cropped edge, or a document past its expiry date.
Why it matters: your photos are used only to confirm it is you. Your date of birth, nationality and passport number are taken from the verified document rather than typed in, and are then locked in your profile so they stay accurate on every contract. If something is wrong, your manager can correct it.
Step 5 — The service agreement comes with your first order
The Master Services Agreement (MSA) is the framework contract between you and Massive Dynamic Limited, the operator of Permitra. You do not need to sign it before you start: it is presented together with the Service Order inside your first order, and signed once for all the orders that follow.
Contracts are in English, and the English text is the one that binds. Signatures are handled by Documenso; every signed document keeps an audit trail of who signed and when. Once you sign, Massive Dynamic Limited countersigns, and the executed contract is filed under Documents → Signed.
After you register
- More → Personal details holds your profile: how we reach you, your company details for invoices and your billing address. Fields taken from your verified ID show a lock.
- More → Sign-in and security — add a passkey so you sign in with your device's fingerprint or face instead of a password.
- More → WhatsApp — link your number to get status updates there as well as by e-mail.
- More → Your status shows at a glance whether your identity is verified and whether your MSA is signed.
An account that has not yet been verified can hold one unpaid order at a time. Once verified, you can run as many orders in parallel as you need.
The next step is your first order: How to Create an Order on Permitra.
Troubleshooting
"An account with this email already exists." You — or a colleague — registered with that address before. Sign in instead, or use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
My ID check was declined. Retake the photos in good light, with all four corners of the document in the frame, and check the document has not expired. The reason, if one was given, is shown at the top of the Verification screen.
I chose the wrong account type. Contact your manager before you sign your first order — the account type and company details are printed into your contracts.
How do I know a message really comes from Permitra? We never ask for passwords or payment outside the portal. Check any phone number, e-mail address, invoice or contract at app.permitra.io/verify.
The portal describes the process; permit and visa decisions are made by the authorities.
